由億萬富翁 Mike Novogratz 所創立的加密貨幣金融服務巨頭 Galaxy Digital ，於昨晚（12 日）宣布贏得了與最大的數位資產託管商之一 BitGo 之間的收購終止訴訟，而不必支付任何「分手費」賠償 。
據《彭博》、《Coindesk》報導，根據上週五 Galaxy Digital 提交給德拉瓦州衡平法院的一份動議，由於 BitGo 未能在期限前提交在併購協議要求的 2021 年經審計財報，法官裁定駁回 BitGo 提出的逾 1 億美元索賠，Galaxy 有終止交易的「有效依據」，因為 BitGo 向 Galaxy 提供了「不合規」的財務文件。

Galaxy 成功終止 12 億美元收購
Galaxy Digital 最初於 2021 年 5 月宣布要以 12 億美元的股票和現金收購 BitGo，如成功合併會是當時加密貨幣領域最大的收購案之一，但在 2022 年 8 月的加密貨幣熊市中 Galaxy 做出了放棄收購 BitGo 的決定，以 BitGo 未能在期限前提交符合協議要求的 2021 年經審計財報為由，行使終止權。
但隨後遭到 BitGo 提告追討 1 億美元分手費，暗示 Galaxy 退出是因為它在熊市期間損失了數億美元後無力再購買。在 Galaxy 宣布放棄收購的前一週曾報告 2022 年 Q2 的加密資產未實現損失高達 5.54 億美元，該公司在去年的加密寒冬裁撤了 20% 的員工。
法院上週駁回 BitGo 索賠的判決讓 Galaxy Digital 表示對結果感到滿意，而 BitGo 則回應媒體稱：
